The above is the typical average delivery timescale. While uncommon, deliveries may go beyond this and delays may arise between dispatch and arrival to you. This is completely out of our control and we advise that no tradesmen is booked in before goods have arrived in A1 condition. We are not liable for incurred costs as a result of this.

Any items which are rejected and returned due to any reason other than damaged / defective may incur a returns charge.

Most door deliveries cost £48 for one door, and £6 per additional door, capped at £95. Deanta Door delivery is £45 for one door, and £10 per additional door, capped at £95. JB Kind Doors cost £42 for one door, and £6 per additional door.

Deliveries from multiple suppliers will be charged separately. I.E. 1 LPD Door & 1 XL Joinery door will be charged at £84.00

Small Parcel Delivery for items such as handles and latch packs etc, cost is £9.60 and £1.50 per additional item, capped at £40.

If your order contains items from multiple suppliers (I.E. LPD Doors & Atlantic Handles) then you will receive them in separate shipments.

Dispatched items mean that the order has been processed and is now in the hands of the couriers to contact you as per the above lead times.

It is advised to check all goods delivered within 48 hours of receipt and report any issues to us immediately. Damage Claims made after this may be rejected.


Branch Collections :

Collections are something that can be facilitated at our branch in Middlesbrough and occasionally at supplier addresses. Minimum order values apply to certain suppliers and we advise contacting us to discuss as there may be a relative charge for items into branch.

Please note, Stock levels shown online are based on supplier stock levels at their warehouse and does not necessarily mean the item is available in our branch. Please contact us to check branch stock levels for items you wish to collect.

For items which require to be ordered in, Typical lead time is around 5 working days or dependant on supplier delivery routes.

An email will be sent to you confirming that your items are now ready for collection. From this point, we can no longer offer a delivery service on goods delivered into branch due to us relying on supplier delivery services.

Upon collection, we advise strongly that you inspect any and all goods to ensure they are as expected in terms of quality and appearance. From this point, Returns may still be accepted but could be subject to additional charges. This does not affect your consumer rights in relation to faulty / defective goods.


Once you have placed your order, our courier will contact you to arrange delivery. Orders placed after 10am will be processed the next working day.

Our normal days for delivery are the working days of Monday through Friday, The couriers may be able arrange a Saturday delivery but this is at there own discretion.

Our standard delivery service only covers majority of the UK Mainland. Delivery to any of the Isles is unfortunately not available at this time.

Deliveries to Scotland may be subject to a additional delivery charge from our suppliers. There is a list below of our supplier surcharges & we advise contacting us before placing your order to apply the relative delivery charge. Deliveries to Scottish post code areas usually take up to 7-10 working days, depending on when the courier is in the area.

Mendes Doors Delivery Information :

We have been instructed by the hauliers that deliveries on behalf of P M Mendes Ltd that a procedure has been put in place for reporting loss or damage. The driver is not permitted to handle delivery notes, and cannot allow the customer to use the electronic pad to record any loss or damage.

If you are unfortunate to experience any loss or damage please phone 01225 – 700647, this will take you to the haulage company. If you can advise them of the post code the delivery has been made to they will log the call and we will be able to replace any lost or damaged items MUST BE REPORTED WHILE THE DRIVER IS ON SITE – ASK THE DRIVER TO TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS AND IF YOU HAVE THE FACILITY TO TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS IT WOULD BE ADVISABLE.

We offer a conditional next day delivery service delivered to you the next working day on XL Joinery Doors. This is only available to certain post code areas.

Place your order before 10am on a working day for delivery the following working day. Next Day delivery charges do occur an additional surcharge on top of our standard delivery charge.

The additional charge for this is as follows :

1 – 3 doors – £50.00

4 doors – £60.00

5+ doors – £70.00

Day of Delivery

As we use a national courier service to deliver our goods we are unfortunately unable to give a time for delivery as this is at the carriers discretion. Delivery times are usually between, but not restricted to, the hours of 8am to 6pm.

It is assumed that the delivery address is accessible by large lorry, if this is likely to be a problem, please inform us at the point of ordering.

Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions, couriers are only able to deliver items to ‘kerbside’. It is not their responsibility to take the delivery into your home, it is therefore advisable to make sure that there is adequate help to unload the delivery into you home.

DIY World Ltd t/as MODA strongly advise all customers to check all goods for any damage caused during transit, prior to signing for the goods. All goods must be signed for by a person over the age of 18. If the item is damaged whatsoever, sign as damaged and we can arrange a replacement.

Once received, check goods thoroughly and inform us of any damage and identify any problems.

This will allow us to quickly rectify any problems and ensure that replacements can be issued.

If the courier is unable to complete delivery because you were not available or rejected the items for any reason other than damage, you will be liable for a charge for re-delivery and/or returning the items. If the order is cancelled after being dispatched by us to you, the delivery charge is not refundable.

All changes to your order, delivery address, items and product types, or otherwise, must be made in writing to us via email to eradicate any errors.

Once again DIY World Ltd t/as MODA strongly suggest you do not book any trade person to complete a job involving goods ordered from us, until all of your order have been received in good order.

Use of the goods is deemed as acceptance. Use is any installation, namely cutting into a door to install hinges and handles for example, or any painting or treatment.

Goods can be delivered palletised and with packaging protection for the safe delivery and protection of your goods. It is your responsibility to correctly dispose of any packaging and pallets.
