MODA Doors is a trading style of DIY World Ltd.
If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force.
- Whilst product images used try to show the item as true to life a possible, There may be slight differences between the online image and item delivered.
- All door Images online typically will show the industry standard 78″ x 30″ (1981 x 762mm) size. Variation can occur between different sizes in relation to glass size and numbers of panels, and panel size etc due to scale. Please contact us for an accurate drawing of the size of your door if this is something of concern.
- All glazed items will have the doors country of origin safety glass mark for regulation. These can vary from supplier to supplier and is not something that can be changed.
- We can not 100% guarantee a perfect colour match from what is displayed online to what is delivered.
- Natural variations of texture or colour on timber faced doors are not considered defects.
We shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by reason of acts of God, war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of Government, imposition or restrictions of imports or exports or any other cause not within the reasonable control of DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk. All sizes quoted are approximate. Where DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk agrees to provide a specifically designed plan, the Customer agrees to check the accuracy and suitability of the plan.
A contract is created upon dispatch of the goods. Before this point we reserve the right to cancel any and all orders.
Before working with electricity, gas or water you should always consult an appropriate professional electrician or CORGI-registered plumber. When working with electricity always turn off the mains. In connection with building work DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk cannot advise on planning permission or building regulation issues.
The Customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary planning permission and local authority consents and permissions for any work to be carried out.
Any plan drawn by DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk is, and remains, its property and may not be reproduced in whole or in part without its previous written consent. Always read and follow any relevant manuals and safety instructions.
DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk will do all that it reasonably can to meet the date given for delivery. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, beyond the reasonable control of DIY World Ltd, DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk may not be able to do so. In such circumstances DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk will contact the Customer and agree an alternative date. The Customer will also do all that he/she reasonably can to enable the delivery to take place on the given date. In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Customer the Customer may not be able to do so. In such circumstances the Customer will contact DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk and agree and alternative date.
As soon as DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk has delivered the goods, the Customer will be responsible for their safekeeping and DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk will not be responsible for any damage or fault arising from incorrect storage. Use of the goods is deemed as acceptance. Use is any installation, namely cutting into a door to install hinges and handles for example, or any painting or treatment.
Ownership of the goods shall remain with DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk and shall not pass to the Customer until the agreed price for them, together with all other sums due from the Customer to DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk, have been paid in full.
These terms and conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.
Contracts are made and accepted subject to these Conditions of Sale. Contracts that are made in Scotland shall be governed by Scottish Law otherwise this contract shall be governed by English Law and no other.
In these terms and conditions:
“DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk” means, DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk and any other connected organisation that supplies the goods ordered by you and any successor to its business;
“We and Us” means DIY World Ltd t/as MODADoors.co.uk either alone or together with you, as the context requires;
“Working day” means every day of the year except weekends, and English statutory and public holidays;
“You” means the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions;

We reserve the right to cancel orders and refund customers for various reasons including to but not limited to pricing errors and potentially fraudulent orders.
